Frigid

I have heard it said
that people
will forget the things
that you have said,
and they will forget
the things that you have done,
but they will never forget
the way
you made them feel.
So,
I wonder
what it means
to know that after
everything we have been through,
you could forget me so easily.
I suppose
it is for the best;
if you knew
how you made me feel,
I would forget me,
too.
